Okay, so this is the write_one() function from OpenCV, it converts the frame to YUV and encodes it.This function is callled in every frame. I was thinking the encoding would take time, but apparently conversion part takes a lot more, which is odd. The encoding function takes about 0.045(~20FPS) seconds. The conversion function BGR->YUV takes about 0.20 seconds(~5 FPS). That computer only has intel integrated GPU.(so, Using FFMPEG with NVIDIA GPU is not possible.) Also, in my case, there is one dedicated computer and camera for this software. However, The problem is, I want to get 10 FPS from my video.(I mean the video eventually becomes 10FPS, but while encoding process, it doesn't get all the frames.(I am getting in between 3-5 FPS).When I dig the code I have realized that, the encoding function is okay but the function that converts BGR->YUV is pretty slow. but this is job related, so never worry.I want to develop one software that takes frames from 4K camera and encodes it simultaneously.Īnd right-now I can get the frames and compress it to a. I am trying to setup a paging system for a 100m x 300m building. Hello,I am unfamiliar with VoIP paging systems, so please forgive my lack of knowledge. Best way to set up a VoIP paging system Collaboration. Is there anyone that has used intel quick sync that can tell me if just the processor needs it or both mobo and processor? If the mobo does need to support it as well, can recommend some like $150-$300 mobo's that have it? i did find the page that shows which cpu's do support the technology. I wanted to upgrade this rig (its probably a good 7yrs old or better) with something newer that does support quick sync but not sure what does and what doesn't. I went into the bios to try and find the video section where i read i would need to find iGPU and enable it but the bios for this mobo is basica and doesn't even show a video section. I thought that both the mobo and the processor had to support it, some forums i read say that just the processor needs to. I read using a quicksync will drastically help with this. even with blue iris running as a service, the processor is still pegged at 100%, all the time. The HP Z220 desktop i have running blue iris security surveillance software that has an HP 1790 board, an ssd, core i7- 3770 quad core 3.4Ghz CPU with 16GB RAM and an intel HD graphics 4000 and up to date BIOS and windows 10 pro 圆4, is running deathly slow.
